what makes of tipping trailer have something other than rubber suspension?
Ive got to price a job where the only way to get the muck out is in a trailer.
I cant hire one on the island and it looks like you cant get a new ifor for 2 years.
nugent are £7500
I see debon can be had for £5500 but are rubber.

You want to spend 5-7k for one job? Just price in a trip to the mainland to hire!

Can't you fit a Transit tipper down?

Speak to Dan at Morris Buftons in Ludlow - he’s the best Ifor dealer in the UK and will get one quicker than anyone else.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
try Meredith and Eyre ..... not steel sprung - beam axles - but very good quality .... used to buy my trailer running gear off them when Bramber ceased to trade

They wont undercut their dealer network, rrp or recommended % discount only.

The only ones ive seen available so far are debon (rubber) and there is a ebay listing for a new nugent but it says birch plywood floor and its £7500.
You would hope for £7500 you would get a aluminium or steel floor.

Try Blendworth trailers. Only just outside Portsmouth. They have tippers for hire and sell Ifor and debon. Although you are unlikely to get a new Ifor any time soon. They had a couple of new debon tippers in when I was there last and they looked really good. 3 way tip would be very handy if things are tight. Run by two brothers, Gordon and Stewart and they really know trailers, they will see you right.

If a big old tipper trailer will fit can’t a transit? Or how about a multione to run the muck out?

Use mine so much more than I thought I would, on most days has hampered fuel consumption but so handy to have that extra capacity to get stuff even got 2 bulk bags of sand for stone masons and tipped them off as we had nothing to lift them off with. Other day needed 2 ton of mot shot Rd to small builders merchants and split 2 bags then drove along path and out other end no way transit without 4x4 getting out

can theoretically get 2400kg on tipper trailer what can you get on transit tipper? Plus lower loading height for micro digger.

I run both tipper trailer and trucks so well aware of the merits of either. just thinking that Russel will find it easier to get a man and transit tipper for the day than a tipping trailer.

My mate bought the big nugget as they call it as he couldn’t wait for an ifor, seems well made 1 piece sides with proper latches so doesn’t rattle like the ifor, the sides like to fall off the ifor when open my toe has discovered that a few times. Build quality and galvanising is poor on my feb 2021 ifor. Had 4 lynch pins fail and the retaining u that holds the bolt has sheared off one of the middle posts. Expected better for £5600 plus vat. Going to add the winch post to mine for getting mixers and other stuff on and off.

I just thought it would be a bit painful shifting 1 ton at a time. Would be bad enough doing 2-2.5 ton. Return trip to tip will probably be a hour plus.

We've no idea of access etc or even how much stuff is to shift but can you not bulk it out to somewhere with a dumper and then reload into something bigger to cart away.

Thought about that but would have to hire someone's drive and I think that would be hassle to arrange.
I know a trailer will work because I got my gh1054 in there.
