Not sure what's the point on such a small machine. They use about a fiver of diesel a day anyway, hardly going to ruin the world- and what a hassle when it runs out over just filling a Jerry can of diesel.

It's all about emmissions. That LPG digger will be just the ticket for central London work.

std bottles .... carry a spare instead of 4 jerrys ... or fit a refillable one and refill on a forecourt ... still a few round here ... had three LPG FLTs and a few cars on it .. was fine ... as long as you understand not to flog the nuts off it from cold when the temperatures are down - let it warm up for five (while you grease it

I'd rather a diesel...we've got a gas fork truck on loan till linde get their flipping act together ...stinks the place out.
On that note you gotta laugh at these folks posting they have green forklifts gone electric etc...forklifts indoors and even a lot out have been electric for years

Or inside a clean air zone where diesel is banned yet you don't want to rely upon a battery! Kubota will sell more than some folk think of these.
Also- I wonder what the cost per hour is of running on LPG rather than white diesel?

I agree .... in light of all the tish going down ATM I am surprised that LPG isn't enjoying a bit of a revival TBH ...... was only ever a token effort on the Gov.'s part last time, soon let it die a death and raised all the duties on it ... never any real commitment to promoting it properly ... Wonder if it's still doing OK in Oz? @AusDave ??? ... Spain and Portugal were also big adopters

LPG is no longer very common here either. It used to be a cheap option to get your car converted to run on LPG. But then the LPG price increased over time as it was indexed to other fuels. This plus lower performance, higher consumption and the decreased availability of LPG filling places has made it pretty uncommon and unviable now in Australia. Not really worth it.
I still have a forklift which runs on LPG. But I wouldn't use it in a confined space as it's just as likely to kill you with carbon monoxide as a petrol or diesel forklift. Just less a bit less irritating fumes before you pass out
