What are your CFM requirements for the compressor? You don't need to spend too much on one unless you want major airflow.

and just plug 'em in ... or take them with you too for mobile limited supplies
I have the same thing from SGS- it's been good, belt drive is a bit quieter than direct. Previously I had two direct drive Wolf compressors and joined them as you suggest- however the belt drive runs to a higher pressure, so regulated down again from storage pressure you get a lot more usable air. So think I'll stick with one and a secondary reservior as needed.or run two 14cfm,s into a ring line

and can always chuck one in the van if you wanted to and still have air in the shop
if you want bigger receiver capacity just tee a tank in to store more litre-age
(47kg propane bottles make good air tanks once purged)
absolutely .... the direct drive are much noisier and if the motor dies, a PITA to replace ... belt drive is / always was, much better (and runs cooler generally) .... and can be wound up to 150PSI quite happily

to connect them simply use a LH threaded std stem nut and stem with a PCL attached to the stem ... male to male lines will let you plug as many as you want into your system (and enable you to take the tank with you to site if required - seem to recall you already do that with a B o cee tank
engine drive what ?? ... if it's stick, you'll need summat like a Hobart Hefty or equivalent unitThink I'll be looking at a Jasic to go with my Kempi tig and Miller engine drive
I was meaning that in my opinion a Jasic wouldn't look out of place in the company of a Kempi or a Miller.
