Looking at a set of electric sliding gates for my yard and also a set of site swing gates.. anyone got any recommendations?
We installed these earlier in the year, but they were only lightweight and I’d get into them in 30seconds!

Must be a better mechanism out there?! I know they all have a manual override which I guess is the weak point

all depends on if your want it remote, motorised .....
manual is a different kettle of fish ..... if it's only opened/closed at the start and end of the day I'd be saving me bucks for some serious locks ... and it'd be a monumental saving, even with serious locks

We have a 11M cantilever gate at our shop, it was originally electrified but the gearbox gave up within 6 months so we just open it manually now, got the track and bits from UKGates

The black on I posted was 12meters clear opening.. balanced beautifully tbh! All aluminium!

Am looking, kinda want new just so it’s good for a long time, think I may end up with a big set of solid swing gates for the new yard.. got quoted 12k for sliding with infilled mesh panels - me installing!
