It will indeed be saved . It will be in action next year with a vintage mixer and an old block maker at the shows . Like to know something of their history .

Thanks for sharing these picture, I haven’t come across an Armstrong machine before but a company I once worked for had a similar static machine which they made screen wall blocks with obviously other moulds were available. I don’t remember the make but it had a small hopper to hold the concrete which you scraped forward to fill the mould.

It’s not actually an Armstrong machine . There was no make on the block maker so I got decals made up in my own name . The brick maker though has a brass plate on it with Vickers Ltd on it .
