Nightmare,folded sheets as much as possible without loosing all the insulation,got bulk tippers coming in,chuck em in back of them n wave good bye,How do they recycle the insulated cladding?…

We cleared the site of a food factory earlier this year that was approx 4 acres of heavily insulated building - I can’t begin to imagine what it must have cost to get rid of all of the cladding from site. There was mountains of the stuff, and it made a hell of a mess as soon as it was ‘manipulated’ with the demo excavators. I half-thought it might have been cheaper to strip it and stack it all by hand - possibly even find a market for its reuse?

140t of what? Asbestos!Made a start on my new (farm) yard yesterday, the neighbours objected to the planning permission so I’ve put a bund between us and them , will be planting a big laylandi hedge ontop of it.. needed bother them then!! Chucked 140ton in the middle of that..!
current yard is going up for rent shortly for those of you that know it.
