Hi Can anyone help me

I have a Benford tv1200 roller with a Sauer Sundstrand Hydraulic pump which is broken.

We have no forward or reverse

Can anyone tell me who might repair it.

is it deffo the pump at fault and not a control system? ... what makes you attribute the issues directly to the pump ?

We had an engineer out who took off the in and the out directions of this function the input pumped plenty of fluid the output side had barely any.

I am a groundsman not a mechanic please forgive my amateurish description

what goes in has got to come out ... doesn't sound right to me

From memory there is a solenoid on the pump. Has the engineer checked this?
I’ve no longer got my TV1200, but one of the last things I did to it was have the pump reconditioned, cost was circa £1250, so not a cheap fix! Be sure that it’s the pump before you send it off. As a lot of money could be spent on someone else’s hunch…..
Having said that, any decent company refurbishing it would test it first if you request so and would normally quote for the repair once it’s inspected. But there will still be costs incurred, even at this point, regardless of weather you have it rebuilt or not.
my go to place for pump inspection/repair is P&R Hydraulics in Norwich, which should still come up on google, but they are under the Pearson Hydraulics umbrella now, still the same great service

any pics you can add here of the machine and particularly the pump will help people with further advice.

Sauer want £5k for a new pump, everyone wants 5 k for a similar age machine

Ours is perfect for the job (cricket) so happy to spend a little, excellent otherwise.

I believe he has checked the solenoid and he did a trick with a magnet to move a spool or something.

There are 4 square electronic boxes by the hand control but otherwise very little.
