was sat here thinking exactly the same thing Craig ???????If I`m using 25l drums, I use a 12v transfer pump, only problem you need access to a battery.

Don`t know why in that picture they got the delivery nozzle on the suction pipe
... got summat similar to that, but a faff to set up for 25ltrs ..... the little injection delivery pump is a POP to use and'd deal with a jerry or 25 pretty smartish

it's the in-line one from under a Granny Alex -- SDs use a Lucas version which has a bigger bore and flow rate ... will pressurise the fuel rail to 40PSI so shift a lot of fuel as they're a return loop system .... you could just as easily use an in tank motor unit, but they're smaller bore and rely on their immersion to cool them .. the in lines rely on flow for cooling

someone put that up on the CEF a long time ago .... 'tis very neat but might as well use a tank and half/partially fill itThis is mint - I would buy one tbh!

Cut one in half, welded a plate in there complete with filler tube and pickup pipe, fitted a 12volt pump with 4mts of supersoft rubber hose and trigger, battery tray and welded a bit of 12mm diameter bar around the top ...arbtalk.co.uk

I've a little submersible pump like this
Works well it'll drop in most 25l drums I just have a length of 3/4 hosepipe on it and clip it to the machines battery. I often use it out of a 205 barrel in the van much better than humping 25L cans if there's any quantity to fill

for years i used a submersible water pump the same as a caravan water pump. one actually came with one of the new 3cx machines i drove, i put on a socket to fit into the warning beacon, it worked ok and did not take long to empty a five gallon drum. when i first used it i thought it would not last long but as long as you dont run them dry they are ok, i still have it in my shed and it still works it must be 15/20 years old. obviously not as good as a fixed pump but cheap as chips to buy not high pressure but decent enough flow.
