They don`t do themselves any favors, if I was looking for one, I would probably dismiss it and look else where because something doesn't quite add up. Where as if they ad say new clock at XXXhrs, you may show a bit more interest in it.

Something else to consider with any businesses selling on ebay most do not actually want to do the deals via ebay due to ebay charges so will load the cost up to put you off (unless they get lucky). Ebay is just free advertising for a lot now and so genuine interested buyers will make contact and deal outside of ebay.

That price is inc vat they are 15.5k + vat now. As you say it's very tempting to sell at the minute but not if you can't wait a long time for a replacement. Other than getting lucky with a cancelled order or a dealer who has a machine ordered for stock lead times are getting well into next year for most brands possibly even towards 12 months

I couldn’t agree more- how someone can 20-30k on a mini and leave it in the hands of a complete nonce is beyond me- speacially given the appallingly cheap rates of self drive hire.

I’m the same- put it up for silly money and see if any one bites- no harm in trying!? Might struggle to get a replacement though.

It wouldn’t take too many jobs to make up for any ‘profit’ you might make. And who knows what a machine will be costing when you finally get one in a years (?) time?

I was told £17,000 + for a 210r earlier this week

Were 13.5k new when I bought my dx10 as the tb210 was the same price missed the vat part on the add, as it was a dealer just assumed plus vat

@Russell was quoted 15.5k less than 6 months ago for a new tb210 from Willowbrook

@Storrsy it's tempting seen a few that sort of price plus vat within the last few weeks mine has nearly 500 hours but the paint is far better than that. Not really used the micro for a while but it's handy to keep as was the majority of my work

TBH, based on the commentary about current prices, if I were close to that I'd be going for a good shufty. It's 4 yr old and if it's spent its life outdoors any/all scratches and grazes would be looking as it does ... beat up in all the right places for joe Bloggs to have done it ... as Gaz says, they'll be catering for Ebay crap, so a face to face deal to be had I'd guess ...AND it's VAT inclusive -- maybe another slice to be dealt against ... 1/2 'n 1/2 type thing ;) ... the right deal and a bit of time and a pressure wash, etc. and there'd be bucks to be made from that ... or if you wanted one a decently priced tool in the midst of the current insanity -- with no waiting list to sit out .... too far from home for an on spec. shufty, but 20 miles away and I'd've already been for a look to decide for myself
these people are a 'garden equipment ctr.' ..... WTF hires a digger from a garden ctr. - or even thinks about trying one ??? reckon they'm unloading at a market peak (??) with prices set to sell at ...... could even be in trouble and liquidating assets?? -- bloody unlikely though .. everyone's garden mad ATM ... Countax looks tidy too but that's a kwaka motor, not Charlie Hodna .... how accurate are the descriptions??? :unsure::(

Have seen that place advertising machinery on eBay for a while. Only noticed jcb and the odd kub before. Nothing ever seemed “cheap” especially with the vat added.

Compared to what I was quoted for a new machine with manual hitch and 3 buckets that's not bad although I'm sure that machine is a fair few months old now as that add has been up a while if I remember right?
It's an odd quick hitch on it as well very long and buckets look odd too
