Small plant in box trailer?

Has anyone used a box trailer for moving a micro and track dumper?
Is the barn doors/ ramp up to running a micro digger up?
I think one would be useful for me, I could leave all my low value stuff in there and it would keep it all dry. Also when doing jobs I wouldn't have to worry about anyone pinching tools off it.

Interesting point, I had to drag one of the 6ft ifir box trailers to Cambridge last year for someone with the combination rear ramp jobbies seemed a very solid thing and remember thinking it be handy for small plant ...think they do a 7ft high version as well.

Sad that society has come to that. Bit like the passive aggressive posters where police insinuate that you are at fault if you leave valuables on show! Bring back preventative policing. Sorry to digress!

I don't think you could leave valuables in it although it would be very handy if you could.
Just being able to leave boring stuff like ratchet straps, road pins, marker paint, shovels and other necessary junk would be handy. Basically like a van but no extra £800 a year on ins and tax.

The ifor plat trailer with mesh sides and the canvas fitted cover would be good wouldn't it as you will know it's up to plant being tracked up and down and the cover can be rolled back for other uses

Yeah it may make sense to just enclose the gh1054. I wonder how well the digger boards stand up to sun light?

I’m sure the Ifor box ramp will be more than up to a micro. Might work well, so long as you can keep it well locked up.

I’d sooner a proper box trailer than some boards or a tarp cobbled onto a normal trailer, if it’s just for that use.

Pretty solid tbf ...arguably take longer to break into than modern tin foil vans...

I also thought about nice big box trailer done out like the North American’s have with all tools, batteries, screws etc work bench brewing stuff would be great then thought like @DaveDCB that’ll just be too easy to steal everything.

Thing is with a lot of the pickups over there if you take the body off they have more in common with a small wagon than our pickups.
