Must go see a mate who buys/sells/break trucks and see if I can acquire a front axle off of summat 'large', to create a box shifting bogie ;):giggle:

This is what I use

Nice big tyres to roll free with the central beam lower then the axle centre line and a bit of FLT tyne welded to the bottom keeps it the right way up

cheers Mog (y) .... WTF is this???? :giggle::giggle:

was considering making some triangular brackets to pin to the locks at the bases - angle uprights about 3 ft up the vertical corners ... braced from the tops down to some horizontal arms to sit on top of a std axle, to keep it within the width of the boxes .... walk them sideways from their current locations and simply haul them length ways the few dozen yards to their new positions ;) ..... a couple of 10.00-20s or even super singles'd give me better load bearing, for the maybe 5 or 6 tons an end, they'm likely to be, on me planings

I will be honest I got the basket first as it looks like one of the baskets that we use on our ladder hoist systems with the drop down door. Yeah that is a beefy pick up plate you never know with mogman it could be for mounting to a loading shovel :ROFLMAO:

It’s a man basket that fits on this6CE0AE4B-BE3A-4283-91D9-DFAD674560BF.jpeg I acquired it when I got the telehandler(y)
it’s a great tool, it’s folded up there but opens out to about 12 or 14 foot and it pivots 180 degrees but the best thing is it’s got a radio remote control that you can take up in the basket and it will control everything apart from the travel of the machine,

With regard to your wheels, will make your box very high with truck wheels under them

Better known as an Air-Bridge :) ... seen 'em on cranes a lot maybe 15-ish years ago ... bloody handy tools and well solid to ride in (y)

the wheels'll be behind the box Mog and I can set the brackets at whatever height I like to get the twistlock, a few inches off the deck/as required ;) and inboard of the width of the box ....... in fact i have just had a thought ..... if I replaced the braces with a couple of rams, I could jack the one end off the deck, to whatever height ;) and'd be easy/easier to fit the twist locks to the box :)

Ah, the old Druid adage. When in doubt - over complicate it!

Ha ha he’s only moving two boxes once:D
I shouldn’t laugh I do the same:unsure: spend a fortnight building something that I will use for a week and save me a day:whistle:
I believe it's the same adage of he who dies with the most toys wins... I certainly can't talk...

three boxes Mog :p .... and they'll all be going 10-12t  ..... I want to be sure of actually moving them  .... might still just get Russel to come and lift 'em with his 35 tonner .... job done, PDQ, without fuss and so much easier to handle, hanging on the end of a gert hook block ;):)
I'll get him to pop by and eyeball the proposition ... see if he's got the radius this time

Oh ...... and they may well move again, once they'm empty :p .. MAY!! ....... be an easier proposition empty though (y)

LOL:LOL::ROFLMAO: ...... if the devil cast his net amongst this forum's membership, he'd have the biggest toy box anyone could ever want, I reckon (and a lot of it'd be Mog's):LOL: .... would certainly liven up his 'eternity' a bit, though not certain some of it could stand the heat :giggle::giggle:
