do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
think someone mooted these a few weeks ago ...... biggest issue would be having to be able to straddle the pallets, so have to leave gaps between them or row them up front to back , with track spacing between rows .... look the mutt's though

Has anyone used one of these?
It certainly looks nice and compact for easy storage.
There are several issues:
as Graham says above about laying out so you can get tracks down either side of the pallet
You can only pick up a pallet width
slow tracking
turning tears the ground up
can only do one thing
The conversion I sold Rory was much more versatile as it slides forward to pick up stuff (although that reduces the pick up capacity). Also it was made to swap bodies so he has a self loading dumper body that can go on it or you can make up other bodies such as mixers as there are auxilary hydraulics.

You sold him a work of art!!

Did they give rated lifting capacity as in all the way up apposed to tipping capacity?
I've seen some say Max tipping is x kg and lifting capacity is 50% of x kg
I would say with the multione that is a fair comparison.

Bobcat loader is 30k, in case anyone was wondering! And nowhere near the spec of the equivalent Multione or Avant. I don't forsee them selling many.

The Cast 28 was 24.5k- looks an OK machine but the salesman was pushy and clearly trying to shift what he had in stock.

The surprising thing about this morning was how quick every single dealer was in coming back with a price- I didn't expect that. The avant bloke seems decent enough- a bit west country but that's not a major crime :ROFLMAO: and I reckon he'd look after the product well. MultiOne apparently deal direct, and the guy I spoke to really knew the products which made a nice change. MultiOne were also the only brand not to slyly slag off another brand.

I'm leaning towards MultiOne, waiting for the finance company to call back and see if they'll lend me another 30k!
I don't want to seam as though I have a spite with Multione, the machines are brilliant... Multione UK not so much though.
Good machine and stock plenty of machines and attachments etc, and yes he knows his stuff about them.
But, want it all for them selves, that why they sell direct.. appoint dealers to areas and then sell directly to customers! This means no back up locally. They use service partners but go through those like dirty boxer shorts.
No parts worth talking about in the UK, I mean I had more stock of parts on my Van, thinks like hydraulic filters 6 weeks wait and that was before covid.... and your warranty is up if you don't change it on time.

Take it the 6.3 won't carry granny's handbag away from the scene?
The 8.4 is considerably faster, which I felt would be prudent. :ROFLMAO:

It's got piston wheel motors and the difference is noticeable. It flys along even on tickover. The 6.3 will do 9km/h flat out, which just seems so slow. Didn't get the 8.4 into high range but low range felt much more productive than the 6.3.

Look forward to seeing it, where are multione based?
Up North somewhere. They knew of a nursery five miles from me which had both a 6.3 and an 8.4, so that was ideal.

Did you have a chance to pick anything heavy up?

I had a compact hire business and had various Multiones I was even a sales against personally if I where to do it again I would buy a Cast. Much better made no plastic panels and uk dealer network. Wish I had never got involved with MultiOne

We presume he took his ego?
I picked up a light pallet (probably 200kg) with the 6.3 and boomed out. Bouncing on the pallet I could almost get the rear wheels to lift.

So I knew it had to be 8.4, they have on paper a tipping load of 1600kg and a lift capacity of 1280kg. Which is plenty for me, there’s slack in the lift capacity to handle a ton bag. I’m not looking to replace a tractor loader, forklift or telehandler.

That's much less than the tracked loaders.
I got quoted £27,000 on a 730 Avant an I think that was only 25hp and slightly lower lifting capacity.
