Thought it looked a bit different, can be moved on site, no permits required parked on road.... but it’s 15p per kg over 1000kg, no cement or rock, £25 per day extra if over 3days 🙄

The craic with these is the idea has been around since the 90's trying to get around permits.

Issue is they are too wide for the places you would need a permit, they hold f**k all and provide all manner of aggravation.

Surprised these are still going, more expensive than a skip - even with the permit added but with something like 1/3 of the payload weight.

What’s to stop folk putting a 6 yarder on an ifor if permits are an issue? Is it a size thing?

Think it's more to do with a trailer can be left anywhere and towed whereas a skip is an immovable object.

Nothing stopping you fitting large sides to a tipper trailer and using it the same way as the mobiskips

Aside from it being harder to load that seems a no-brainer if allowed. A good hitch-lock and you’re away!

Zero. We have put 8 yards on a agricultural low loader header/seeder trailer before.

Issue that hits is if DVSA are called.....

but not on an ifor or similar - as long as it's not overloaded

You will be overloaded very quickly, hence agricultural trailer..... Not breaking any laws unless you tow it
I did consider that too ...... if one could pick the skip straight off the Ifor 'they'd' be ****ed with the permit situation .... but then so too would the Ifor with maybe 12 t on it :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Issue with the Ifor Grah is that once it hits 3.5t the trailer is legally overloaded.

Drop to the floor agri lowloader. No worries. If you tow it your still not breaking anything bar tax classes/red diesel.

but only if it's on the move .... as an entity it's not registered and doesn't technically become a vehicle 'til it moves, attached to a licensed vehicle, like the agri ... can see where you're coming from though .... much kinder to be using summat that'd cope with the weight .... HD dolley under a skip'd be the way round it.
Akin to planning rules on 'movable buildings' .... fella round here used to make chicken sheds ... hit upon the loophole of no planning required if it was 'mobile' .... started putting wheels on the bottoms of the uprights and a guide track on the deck ... wheels have to do one full rotation once a year .... made the slab big enough to go one full rev. in one direction one year and the opposite the next ..... planners were going apesh1t with these sheds popping up all over the place  an' we're talking BIG shed, but low level. He did very nicely out of his idea .... 'til he strangled his G/F and is now doing life in Cardiff nick, sewing mailbags  ... never gonna see his Porsche, Ferrari or helicopter again :unsure:o_O
