Ok so speaking to agritrend who seem to be the better manufacturer of pan mixers they do a 600l that’s 550kg and needs 50l a min oil flow. Looking like this will be too big for the little kubota kc1100hr.

but can use it on skids run off digger aux so could have it sat on a frame so it spills into track dumper.

only problem being you couldn’t be mixing as you loaded unless beaver pack would power it. Or I go up a step and stick it on my 3 ton tracked dumper a marooka mst450

request a price on a mixer bucket for 3 ton

0.6 cube of concrete is a bit under 1.4 tonne. Perhaps the 400 litre pan mixer would be better on a frame driven direct from a little Honda through a gearbox. I haven’t worked out if this is achievable but asking 50litres / min from a beaver is probably a bit much.

If you have access to a tractor stick pan mixer on back of that frees up machine for loading, can be mixed of site and driven there if necessary

I’ve a big jd6920s which isn’t bad for the 18 miles or so from our yard. I will have to cut a lot of trees and hedges back to get it in though or cab would be ripped to s**t

Are we not overcomplicating this? What's wrong with knocking it up in the dumper? 1m3 at a time, doesn't take long. Save money, cut down on workshop time, support your local business by having more time in the pub.
What's not to like!
Anyway if its that far from anything where are you getting the water from?

Don't be too optimistic with hyd flows with stuff. Anything using hyd motors which could be put under load need more than minimum flow otherwise you don't have any spare flow to ramp pressure up when load increases.

It’s for under pinning a national trust property will check with engineer but doubt he’ll be ok with some dumper slop

So he wont be crazy on you mixing it on site either? I'd be going for Rory's idea of pouring it all in a skip and running it up in a dumper as you need it. That way you know the concrete is to a spec and it limits your liability somewhat.

Be better off paying little extra for wagon to wait for you leading it imho at least that way you can keep it nicely mixed and not going off in skip. Saves the hassle of washing skip out as well

I'm not at all sure that ready-mixed and underpinning are good partners (unless you are close to a plant that runs minimix wagons)

Building control/structural engineers are rightly highly sceptical of a builders technical ability to make even vaguely good concrete 😁 (and not a rats chance in hell of using lime mortars 🤪)

The idea of using a pan type forced mixer makes a lot of sense to me for both. I would be looking to use weigh beams to make up batches to load mechanically.

Starting the project looking professional is well worth it IMHO.

Looking an interesting project, wish I was closer 😉

Turn it over and give it a bash it stays quite well in a skip especially if your storing it with a machine while loading it away

Under pinning doesn't go overly well with readymix it's never there when you want it or it's there too early I've loaded site mixers with a 1.5t machine though I think nowadays I'd knock it up in the trailer behind the duck

This is a 3/4 cube pan mixer the landscaper I work with loads bought for this job his small tractor just lifts it full I could power it with my 5t machine and bet that small kub would too
I would get one set up on some blocks to add a little hight for Shute get an umbilical hyd pipes made for small machine so it can sit next to pan mixer and load from pile of agg

I was thinking if I can’t get it on dumper get one in frame run it of aux on 1.5 or 3 ton only thing would be not mixing while you loaded It
