I’m fed up with this story over that last few months so I shall say this only once
Basically I was having a ram guard fitted at the factory which turned out would delay the delivery by 4 weeks which wasn’t ideal. Cat said we could bin off the ram guard and they’d fit a hitch to equal it all out. Easy enough right ? Well the machine turned up hitchless that was arriving later on a pallet unfortunately they sent one for a cat 302.7

Que a lot of swearing. Luckily
@Storrsy saved my bacon and leant me a hitch !. Now I must stress at this point that the salesmen throughout was amazing he was even on eBay trying to find me a hitch to keep me going and constantly on the phone or doing a 2 hour round trip to see me. We decided to go for a Miller hitch as they had one in stock and after another meeting we’re told it could be fitted within the next two weeks so really only minimal down time.
this didn’t happen and after leaving voicemails and sending emails I was basically given an engineers number and told to deal with him direct and not to contact the salesmen

. It turns out it could of been fitted within 2 weeks but Miller weren’t willing to pay the £100 difference the fitter wanted ! Surely I should of been told and would of happily paid to put an end to the stress and loss of earning through hiring machines. It’s been horrific paying for machines with a brand new one sat in a shed ! Just felt completely let down by Miller all this caused by not wanting to pay £100 more leaving me without a machine for nearly 6 weeks
again Lee the cat salesmen was exemplary trying to source fitters , chasing fitters and basically sorting out all these Miller gremlins , he was available to talk to 24/7 pretty much and a proper down to earth guy who loves kit… also he brings doughnuts when there’s bad news
