Having had a selector grab I’m not a fan on small machines. I think the forestry grab or multi tine forestry grab is much moRe useful. You can bunch stuff together and don’t have to rely on pinching it between the jaws.

I thought the opposite until buying one and your spot on with what you say !

I saw this pop up on FB and then recently this week on eBay too. It’s a fair price compared to their latest new pricing.

I’ve got a finger grab and I completely agree with the above. A good finger grab is so much more useful than a selector.

Shame the chap won’t accept a cheeky offer though.

As long as you don't grab it so hard you put the fingers through and it shatters into little bits not an issue. On a mini you should be okay they don't have massive gripping force.

You can always tack on a couple of pieces of flat bar if you really need a selector grab for a few days too.

personally I see no disadvantage to a selector grab, I do land clearance with mine and move logs etc no problem.. then you have the advantage of picking out individual items oppose your just having to sweep everything up into one big pile.. works for me anyway

I can't stand them for land clearance personally! Brash is a nightmare with them.
