If looking to go employed, what would be the best digger ticket to go for on sites around london / surrey ?
Giving up self employment??If looking to go employed, what would be the best digger ticket to go for on sites around london / surrey ?
If your going to do the course, do it on a machine over 10t. That way you will get above and below 10t tickets. If looking to go employed, what would be the best digger ticket to go for on sites around london / surrey ?
No idea, I know it used to be above 10t automatically gave you belowInteresting question ,I've just priced up getting mine as well £200 quid for 10t plus...but was told 10t plus is only for "over 10t" need to do "under" to run smaller stuff as well? Itsarr.
I believe there's a separate category for micro diggers now too....No idea, I know it used to be above 10t automatically gave you below
I can handle not been allowed to use a micro...I believe there's a separate category for micro diggers now too....
All good, yes it's a kinda mate who does the tickets...Saturday morning jobMy forklift ticket is ITSSAR, seems like the one to have this side of the country. 30 years ago it was RTITB. Didn’t know ITSSAR did plant as well. The first FLT refresher I attended was delivered by a graduate who admitted he’d never been on a truck who just showed us a slide pack and couldn’t answer any questions. Twenty years ago the forklifts in the factory were causing more damage than a Panzer division. Now they’re all less than five years old rentals, speed limited, need a fob to operate, log every bump and record it against the operator, in-the-seat re-training every five years, and guess what, just as many accidents as twenty years ago. Which I’ve just realised is nothing whatsoever to do with the original post.
Is that CPCS or NPORS? My CPCS is above and below 10 tonnes. I think the K008 scrapes in just below the 10 tonne mark.I believe there's a separate category for micro diggers now too....
We’ve got our own trainers who are trained up to ITSSAR standards, and it does seem to be a high standard. They actually fail people. All good, yes it's a kinda mate who does the tickets...Saturday morning jobbut he does our forklift tickets.
I have often pondered if it's possible to fail...then he told me some talesWe’ve got our own trainers who are trained up to ITSSAR standards, and it does seem to be a high standard. They actually fail people.
Probably npors like their separate ticket for 1t high tip dumpersI believe there's a separate category for micro diggers now too....
Depth = distance - time you want to save putting the stuff back in the f****ng hole = actual distance you put spoil from trench. The thing I found with my NPORS assessment is that even though my digger operating skills weren’t a problem- some of the theory stuff I was completely clueless about, principally as I don’t work on construction sites. Fortunately the assessor had the gumption to appreciate that there is more to digger driving than pulling footings and the equation required to know how far from the trench to put the spoil!
Exactly, but seems common sense had no place in a theory test.Depth = distance - time you want to save putting the stuff back in the f****ng hole = actual distance you put spoil from trench.
