8014 track adjustment, the hex head bolt with the pin through is the adjuster, it would tighten clockwise and loosen anti clockwise, if the spring is full of clay it will leave the track tight even when de- adjusting, the front idler bearings need to be checked as they do regularly collapse and leave the track loose, tightening them will just cause further damage, if all is ok, lift the track to be tightened off the ground, turn the track to roughly where it is at a tight spot, rest a 14mm/ 9/16” head bolt on the track beneath the nearest bottom roller to the middle of the track, tighten the bolt clockwise until the bolt touches both track and roller. The pin on the rod was a lock pin and once it would have corresponded with a cover plate with a slot on the inside, the cover plates were sometimes left off. Hope this helps.
