crap build up in the sliders ? .......Appears to be the usual issue, or a step worn in the slide surface stopping it

Normally it’s a rock or concrete wedged in the tube.

I’ve had a look at this this afternoon.I took the plate off the bottom and cleaned all the shite out . I’ve got the right track working fine . The left track is working but the ram stops short about 120mm when closing up . The ram seems to be working fine. The only thing I can think off is crud must be inside the left slider . How can I check this out ? Do I need to remove that half of the track frame? ☹️
Also there is a rod each side attached to the track frame that is adjustable but I can’t figure out what the purpose of them is anyone have any idea ?

If it's just stopping short it'll be crap built up in the slides the easiest bet is to give it all a really good blast out with the jetwash to wash it out /soften it

Nice one Tom
I gave it a few good blasts from both sides down the sliders with the pressure washer and it moves all the way in now on both sides . It’s never done that since I owned it !

Good to hear 👍👍.
Muck tends to collect in the slides then dry in there not a problem on sandy ground a bit of clay in there and it sets like concrete
