Diesel Wacker Neuson wacker plate

Local dealer to me has this up for sale, 2013 DPU2540H £1200 no vat (I’m not vat registered either so suits me) Seems cheap compared to others, is that due to the age?

Does seem cheap mines nearly 10 years older and i would want that for it at least if i was selling it. Provided it runs ok be a good wacker.

I'd have said It's the newer type with the 1 piece handle unlike mine

Well, was intending to go and have a look/buy this so rang the seller this morning. I’d noticed the fresh paint on the handle and it being slightly bent, however before I could even ask about it he explained that it had been damaged and repaired. Thought that was pretty decent and open, he could have waited till I was in the yard! Allthough repaired and working fine decided to give it a miss.

It may be the reason why they are so expensive compared to others, you get what you pay for.

Yes I remember my old man buying a cheap wacker, we wrapped the handle in pipe lagging because you couldn't hold it

I’ve got the whacker dpu 100 which is 750kg plate no vibration on handle

Afew just went through euro auctions 600/800.. no idea if they were any good but euro auctions are pretty fair in that if they are crap they will list them accordingly!

Yes @Giles, it was £1400 on eBay, then reduced it to £1200 after it didn’t sell.

Seem to remember it was ballache to register for euro auctions @DaveDCB ?
