as for JCB .... they got two reps on here ...... James always speaks highly of his and having watched all of Gunner Goldrush's tooob vids .... I have to say I am pretty impressed with his little weapon .... faced with the same dilemma of what to buy I'd certainly go take a looksee if he's just been lucky and had an exception to the rule, or whether they have actually produced a formidable tool ...... either that or @Gunners can make a pig's ear sing opera

I’m actually disappointed that I can’t accommodate an 8026, I trust Ollie 100% with his opinion of the 8026 and I must say from his accounts of it I’d love one! But just no room for one in the fleet currently, my trusty 803 Super is still doing all that’s asked of it, selling it is out of the question and I don’t need two that size currently.....

Im not sure I like the tag of ”rep”....I like the brand, I like the products, but I‘m not some blind fanboy, despite what some may think. Neither do I have the patience of a saint for owning JCB’s, as has been suggested elsewhere.
Do they have their faults?......sure they do. Do other brands?......most definitely. To think that I am constantly spannering away at my JCB’s or being followed by a yellow van everywhere I go is just farcical.

When I bought my 86c, it wasn’t just because it was yellow! It genuinely ticked more boxes than the others for me. I made a long list of the pros and cons back on CEForum, probably most of which I’ve forgotten nearly 6 years down the line. But I liked it more than the Kub and the Tak, I could have had either of those, they were all very close in price, not that price made my decision. The fact of the matter was that on paper the JCB blew the other two out of the water, and impressed me enough during the demo I had that I bought one. The other two had many things I liked, and also some things I didn’t. I’ve never been disappointed with my choice.

Each to their own and we all like different things. There are some very good machines from many different brands, but there are also some very good machines built right here in the uk, we should be proud of that and support it where we can imo, but that’s just my opinion.
I will be very surprised if the next machine I buy isn’t a JCB, they have served us well for over 30 years, why would I go elsewhere and send my money abroad? I bought a used X series last year, its awesome, no need to look elsewhere for me.

If you’d have had your detective hat on then you might have picked up on a few hints from Rory, but other than that I’ve not really said anything.

You can, a proportional roller has been available on the 8026 since its launch. The 19c has twin prop aux's available. You can get hitch lines too.

The dealer told me a prop roller wasn’t possible when I was looking!!!

As much as @Gunners raves about his JCB. I feel the same about my Kubota Kx71-3. There is a degree of I purchased it therefore I must be right, but at the moment, I can’t think of anything that I would change on it. It has now got 4600 hrs and will get some TLC in the form of a new rocker cover gasket which has started to weep. Much as @Shovelhands says about his little JCB. My Kubota will take a lot of prising from my fleet. Especially when I see what new machines are costing!!

Hire machine turned up today literally fresh out of the sho, with all of 1.7 hours on it.

As usual days never go to plan machine turns up after midday but nothing for it to do as been let down by skip company so no roro till tomorrow.

Only managed to scratch about so far but the Strickland quick hitch seems odd, the bucket starts curling down on its own when quick hitch activated could just be me doing something wrong

They seem to have quite a large ram for a quick hitch and I know I can release mine by pressurising the pump with the blade leaver rarther than having to curl the bucket all the way in far better for releasing forks
