Does anyone know of a 300kg tyre for a strongman tyre flip type thing? I’ve got a friend who’s planning to do 1000 tyre flips in 24 hours

300kg is a fair tyre though. For some reason they never seem to flip them with the rims on thoughJust about every farm in the country should have a rear tractor tyres laying in the hedge
Or for a real challenge one with a rim in especially an old cast rim
Probably need to be bigger than that I think.I have a large 24 inch telehandler tyre ready to go I don’t think any are 300 kg though
Yes! How many do you want, @Jimbo69 ?@Shovelhands A perfect way to get rid of those old tyres off Big A! Be some effort turning them over as they are so wide!
Just the one will doYes! How many do you want, @Jimbo69 ?
Err......no idea?Just the one will doIs it 300kg?
Can you turn them over 1000 times in under 24 hrs?Err......no idea?I’ve got several to choose from.....
No way of weighing them here though
I’ll see what he says, I’m not sure how fussy he wants to be with the weight.Err......no idea?I’ve got several to choose from.....

How about without a forklift?
How else would you do itHow about without a forklift?![]()
Are you able to tell me the size of that tyre? He can email the manufacturer and get a weight from them.Yes! How many do you want, @Jimbo69 ?
That was a pic of a new tyre, not one I’d actually let go, I’ve only just bought a pairAre you able to tell me the size of that tyre? He can email the manufacturer and get a weight from them.
Thanks for that, he’s just found one local to him though. The daft bugger just has to flip it 1000 times now. Without a forkliftThat was a pic of a new tyre, not one I’d actually let go, I’ve only just bought a pair
They are 66x43x25 and the ones in the pic are Firestone’s
I have a pair of Firestone’s coming off that I may let go. I also have an old Goodyear which I will let go, but is probably lighter than the Firestone and might be hard to get spec on because Goodyear no longer makes them, despite pioneering the terra tyre concept. I also have a Chinese radial which is possibly heavier? If your friend was serious then I could get one weight no problem, I just don’t have that facility here.
They are a big tyre, about 1m wide and I’m no weightlifting expert, but I think it would be awkward as fukc to lift up off the deck, as it’s so tall? A 23.5x25 earthmover radial would probably be easier, they are quite heavy, but crucially you’d get your head and chest over the tyre to lift it, whereas I think you’d struggle with the big floatations? If you get what I mean?
