So I'm driving down the the highway minding my own business when a slight hill caused the engine to miss (I'll ignore the 'why' for now).
The detonation was ... hard to ignore
We had an old nissan cabster where I worked in Aberdeen, it had petrol engine. One of the old guys thought he'd have a laugh and scare some of us young uns. He came wheeling in about the workshop door one day and had shut the ignition of but kept in gear with foot full on the throttle, he was going to give us a backfire scare but it blew the exhaust to bits 😆

They’re bad for corrosion on the back end once water gets under the powder coat. Mine has a 5pm sized hole that needs sorting but nowhere near as bad as that!!!!

We were just talking about that here, it was surely planted by someone. I mean who keeps that kind of thing on a bookshelf 🤷🏻‍♂️ If it was stuck to the wall then maybe that could be an accident 😂

‘999 Emergency - which service do you require?’
‘I’ve got my digger a bit stuck, please send all of the firemen in the region immediately!!!’
‘Of course, they are on their way. If you have any pallets of flimsy lightweight bricks they can re-stack for you whilst they are there that would be great, they need some practice’....

most the village fire fighters are volunteers in Germany certainly were where I lived in Bavaria near Munich.
More like

“hey, Hans I’m stuck bring the boys and the unimog”

quick rescue later let’s open the beers and eat some pig and sing

10pm every one is s**t face and they drive home in the fire unimog singing because it rural Bavaria and no one cares haha

And FYI those bricks are really good. Strong light and thermally efficient they go up faster, cleaner and stronger than our builds.

generally have a band saw on scaffold for cutting them as well

shame they have to be faced as they look gash.
