All terrain electric pallet truck.
We have been having problems with some of the military deciding it is okay to eat in to the safety margin on ranges leading to much higher levels of waste to take away. Not to only is this reducing the amount of work and profit, but has lead to us risking being overloaded coming home or going back to the job to retrieve all the equipment. Not too bad if only round the corner, but a problem if in the north of Scotland. Doing some research I came across these pallet trucks. I was able to hire one from Speedy and ascertained it would do the job, but their hire rates are so high I could buy one for approximately 6 hires. Sure it is not as good as my Norcar loader, but it weighs a fraction of the weight and will enable us to stay legal.
It all looks to be good. Had a quick play round the yard and has plenty of omph. Seems much better build quality and design than the speedy ones. Only issue is the drawings had a charging plug on the outside whereas this has an Anderson jack connector in the battery compartment. I like Anderson jacks, but I don’t like the idea of the battery compartment open whilst I charge it on site in the rain. I’m sure it will be no problem to drill a hole and attach the connector to the outside, but it would be nice to get exactly what you ordered.

I make my money by getting through the jobs quickly as it keeps my costs down and keeps the customers happy as they have minimal downtime. But it involves continually updating my gear to stay ahead of the opposition. Plus I like new shiny stuff!.

I’m surprised you don’t see more about. It would be ideal for people who do block paving etc. We recently had some paving done on our drive and overall I would have thought at least two man days were spent moving the pavors by hand.

Looks good gra i bet the firewood delivery guys would like that. Kind of looks like it could be mounted on the back of a trailer like the artic mounted fork lift trucks.

I have a tiltbed trailer and I can stack up a row of bulk bags on pallets with it and then unload the other end. Would work well with pallets of firewood or even with the tipping forklift skips.
Unfortunately it is only gravity down on the forks so you couldn’t lift yourself up on the back of a trailer, but where you can leave a pallet on the forks it doesn’t take up much room.
