I guess I should start one of these I’ll stick some highlights in then make it more time frame based.

we’ve spent most the year building a welfare block for a camp site in the peaks, dug into the tough limestone, with new drainage and reed beds, ground source heat pump, and paving etc,

another emergency propping job for the national trust, be back in the new year to rebuild it and hopefully the other one as well

getting on for 4000 hours on it, few bushes and 1 beacon switch is all its needed love it, its earned its cost 10x over at least hoping the new ones will just be as good when this needs replacing.

what’s that Herbst multi dumptrailer like for loading machines what with the slope at the back of the trailer? I had the slightly smaller one they do which was a good trailer but the ramps that came with it were utterly ridiculous design and steep- think your one has longer ramps.

As a fellow Kx71-3 fan I do like to see others. I am now on 4600hrs and have replaced tracks, top and bottom rollers and track idlers. In fairness, with those hours and having purchased second hand, I am always very impressed with it! Cant see it being replaced any time soon!,

I mean yes its had tracks and top rollers but they are almost consumables nothing engine or pumps etc

just bought a litt low loader so don’t have to load machines on the herbst

This weeks job, strip wet muddy bark off park and replace with rubber and artificial grass and shock pad. Rubber lads coming Monday to wet lay it

Not hot, resin so like a glue screed it with straight edge then trowel edge and roll with heavy long handled hand roller all dipped in soapy water

Really nice upgrade to the park. The only good thing you can say about bark mulch is that it is cheap.
