Unknown if it effects fertility, unknown how it reacts with other medicines, limited data on if it effects pregnancy.
From my layman's perspective can someone explain to be how this is supposed to be 100% safe?

Nothings 100% safe but,someone on twitter was trying to down play side effects today using chemo as an example,pointed out,that's for seriously ill/dying people so side effect balanced out,this,is for people who mostly have 99+% survival rate,and doesn't effect large number of people.
Also this Pfizer vaccine doesn't stop you passing it on,just tempers the I'll effects of covid ...maybe.
Also today care homes been told not to use lateral flow tests by councils,another Bozo plan undone,because they've had kits delivered n no training,n people who have been trained are poor at it compared to medical proffessionals,and they're looking for £10/11 he vaccinators to be 'trained up'???

All the more reason to vax the over 80s then crack on. Despite what they like to say about young victims I heard something on the wireless today that if the 1st batch of people all get vaxxed the it will prevent 99% of deaths.
At least over 80s aren't worrying about 2 of the 4 issues, fertility and pregnancy.

Interesting article in the Independant about the Pfizer vaccine. I hadn't realised it did not have full approval, just emergency approval which appears to be to a much lower standard. Also everyone involved including Pfizer is being given legal indemnity against anything going wrong including side effects (not just it not working). If it has been tested as much as everyone is making out and they can develop this in a fraction of the time it would normally take because they are such heros why does it not have full approval and why are they not on the hook for any problems as would normally happen?
On a side note it would be nice to think that if it is now so quick to produce vaccines maybe they will carry on with these methods and and by the end of next year we can be wiping out maleria, denge fever etc.

The speed a vaccine can be developed has always been defined by the available resources dedicated to it. So if they thought malaria or denge fever were worth it, they would put resources on it.
The testing has been fairly intensive, but nowhere near that for normal release i.e. they test against reaction with other medications much more intensively which takes far longer as your sample set has to be much larger.

You won't get a passport as it is not 100% effective. But the government seem likely to make it compulsory by stealth by making places meet up insist on it for health and safety.
