I think you'd be lucky to get all that tooling for that! Look at all those chucks, one for every occasion you could conceive. There's 400 quids worth of quick change tool holders alone.....

tool post and 5 holders'd make that all day long Doob ... 'bout 70 quid each .... I'm told the spindle bore is 1.5" .... and #3 MT tail.. have to admit to being very tempted ... it's a hell of a package and a decent swing for such a small tool ...... but looks like it's been snapped up .... no longer links

My tool holders were £23 each. Hold a 12mm tool. Probably the same as those.

they've a 30+ x 20 cut out Doob, BTLs .... hold a 30 sq tool easy .... reckon that'd swing 22 maybe 24" over the bed .... it's a decent size machine

you certainly are Thomas .... tha's not come up in my saved searches either .... the M600 he also has listed is an M400 or 450 with a 65mm spindle bore .. the M500 (which is also on me list, is 80mm ) whilst the 17" is 3.125" ..... pity it's the 66" bed -- the 40" was over 9' long ... that'll be close to 12ft .... but it's a decent price ... 'til you add the 500 quid VAT ...... and looks quite tidy can't see a third one with that guy though Thomas?

tidy example of a good lathe ... have had a couple of Triumph 2000s ... nice tools .... and there's a lot of 'em about ... but only a 55mm spindle bore .... have msgd the guy on the the 17" for a transport cost ... seems to have his own trucks .... thanks for flagging it up

have had a couple of conversations and he comes across well.

A deal has been negotiated with which I'm happy ... or I was 'til I looked at his feedback ... and some of his other stuff, sold previously .... waaaaaaaay too cheap and a certain buyer keeps cropping up on the too cheap items ... some of 'em are 10% of what they're worth ... was he building a feedback profile? or just a mate bidding?? been on there two years.

am now in a bit of a quandry ... the neg feedback he has (two) could just be a sour grapes job ... or could be genuine????
he's sold a couple of items off his current list of items listed and they too were a 'good' price .. as is this ... not cheap but not dear either .. have seen these making £6k ..... his listing is well populated with decent quality pix ... as are all his other listings

's a 400-450 mile round trip for me to eyeball ... and Pam'd go nuts if I mooted a trip to darkest Yorkshire

will have a further conversation and see how he wants to play 'the transaction' .... he's quoted me a delivered price, which is, as I say, acceptable ... I will also be needing a biz name/address, etc. from him as he professes to be a dealer .. his listings do support the claim ... but as said ... some of his previous prices are absurdly cheap ... if they're genuine i'm crying in me coffee here for the bargains missed
if he moots a C.O.D. job, I'll probably run with it
