There isn’t enough staff in hospitals without building anymore(Just spent 6 days with wife in maternity and the staff are run to the ground with so many off isolating without being able to get tests etc!)

I get that they built the nightingales to separate covid from standard hospital But they may as well of just put carpet down and made folk sit down until they got better!!
Does this mean congratulations are in order then?!

theres been a few positive tests in our eldest kids school, 4/5 kids with it apparently.
we are in a local lockdown area but it doesn't seem any difference to normal really, just been to the garage no body wearing masks etc
my yard man said theres no masks in his pub at all. me and my dad went to a plant sale on sat out of our area (needed a trailer) my dad didn't even realise we have been locked down.
the rules don't even make sense - Im not meant to walk up a mountain 3 miles away because its in another county but you can come 60 miles away from Manchester and go up it.
who makes this crap up?

Masks in pub I go to now to walk to table and to piss. The table service is not so bad but the place is so small we are literally only allowed 6 in the bar. imagine walking in and there already being 6 in there!

I cant be alone in getting frustrated at mask wearing.

Some with
Some without
Some with them tucked under the nose
Some with them warming the chin

The last two really get me, either wear one or dont, this whole I’m going to look like I’m wearing one but really I’m not is bull sh*te

Couldn't agree more...went in m6 toll services week or two back...basically a joke. I'd say it was 50/50 mask or no mask..have to say it was obviously who worried about it...older nervous "we don't go on the motorway much" types all masked up...where as the builder with his shorts on no mask in sight types.
Personally they do my head in..specs and mask do not go together...unless I wear a proper P2 mask which seals and vents properly..and probably actually works. My two Pennyworth.🙄

Couple of friends, one, health issues, disabled kid who's very vulnerable, older daughter tested positive, luckily they've large house to isolate her and themselves, but told until they show signs,no test, another guy from South Wales,7 year old kid has symptoms, once again health issues with one parent, kid got tested, now they've been told in conclusive, test done too soon?
Major construction project, today all wearing masks in offices, site vans, some even walking about outside with them,I keep away from most people, don't go in cabins now...do what the bears do......breaks in machine or van, think they're worried if job stops, won't start again

see i just wear my mask everywhere, why because we have been asked too. Its a pain, its uncomftable but so what just be respectful to people around you, I wouldnt want to be carrying the rona and give it to a load of innocent people in the local shop. Whats to say one of them dont die from my stupidity.

This year has got everybody on edge too i have found.. Inc me :D

I wear the mask in the local fuel station or they give you ear ear ache. The local shop has just had a lot of work done and I can know order my sandwich from the door without going in, just need to stretch a bit to pay!!

Went into the supermarket with the Mrs at the weekend and was surprised how many people had mask on, I was thinking we have become clowns with the government advice. Don’t meet more than 6, but please all go to the cinema, but not football.

I know people think it's selfish but I refuse to wear one. Only place I'll do it is in the pub to respect the gaffer.
I respect anyone who has worn one of their own accord since the start. Anyone who starts wearing one after the rules change or the "science " changed...

Wearing masks has nothing to do with stopping the virus
It's entirely down to giving people a false sense of security so they go out and spend more money into the economy
LIke most goverment mandates regarding the virus, it's had the opposite effect. If you tell people they have to wear a biohazard suit and queue for half an hour to try on a pair of shoes, everyone except the terminaly stupid and eager to please says 'f**k that'.
