What a tool, diamond core bit for the grinder - bloody brilliant, cuts through 10mm Porcelain in a matter of seconds, I usually dread drilling them but these make it a breeze!

Ill start off with a new toy.. been tiling since I was a kid, gone through the usual bench saws then had a smaller version of this , but as we are laying 1200mmx600 and 900mmx900mm tiles at home i thought I’d get a upgrade capable of both (might not look it but it can take a 1200mm tile flat on the bed)

I only recently threw one of those away. There a pita to move about and I don't do floor tiles any more. They are a nice way to cut the thicker tiles. I did tile the floor of a commercial kitchen a while back. A mate was supposed to help me but let me down at the last minute. Getting it done in time to re open nearly done me in. There was a few 15 hour days on that one.

This on local to me turns over but won't start a westwood 1600. Wonder if it's worth a punt and trying spark plugs or something. Seems cheap enough I think the person selling it seems to not know a lot about it but then i remember that neither do I!

I paid £700 for a JD X165, 4 years old, all working and clean except a seal gone in the transaxle. 80 hours on it. About 4k new I think with the VAT.
I'd feel a mug paying half of £750 that for an old Westwood like that, especially as no start.
