@TiltyShaun , @fred .... you boys having one hell of an electrical storm your way tonight .... been watching it for hours ... must be pretty spectacular to be under 
had one back in '84 .... sat in the garden in a sun lounger 'til 4 a.m. watching it ..... never seen anything like it before .. or since !! lightning of all varieties all night including some thunderbolts, which did a fair bit of damage where they were touching down ..... will never forget it
so ...... as planned, the Zetor got a hell of a wash yesterday ......
this usually has 100m of hose on it ......
and just about reached to where i needed it ..... has been a really handy hose reel ... a n other fleabay buy probably 10 years ago ... with a bit of 160 perf pipe on the centre to aid coiling .... just didn't work tidily with the 4 bars it came with and the perf was a perfect fit ... first time I've seen that in a very long time

I have the tinwork for the tunnel and the rubber over cover ..... thought I'd get it clean, before refitting it though
taken off apparently .. some time ago .. when the pin came out of the selector lever, for the hydraulics ... have persuaded that back in but reckon it would benefit from a newer one .... awkward lil' mother to get at though.
Q for all you guys more knowledgeable than I on traccies ..... are all those blank ports for additional hydraulic services and presumably the ones on their own would be a return??
and all over, everywhere ... looks a different beast
then turned my attention to the Thwaites this morning .....
looks better than the yellow/green it'd become .... very satisfying seeing it return to a more 'original' colour
and as it was out, seemed rude not to give the 'Drema some attention too
and yes I know that panel want some shiny tish .... has done for a while .....
ran out of time to get the boom sections done .... and the pressure washer's enthusiasm had waned a bit .... think it has a blocked nozzle - but didn't want to go on .....
nice to see her looking a LOT cleaner ..... finished the day off, after tea, with a grease session, to clear all the pins of water
would be nice to get humperdumper and jakieB done too, but cannot be arsed to lug them about onto the rocks ..... job for another day and neither of them are in such a greasy state ... more green problems than grease.
... so tomorrow it's gonna be planings in and leveled ..... put the laser round the clean 40mm tonight and it's all there or there abouts, so'll be a nice edge to level to .. plus a bit for rolling ......... theeeeeeeeeen I can return everything from whence it came .. sort of

Connection on its own to the right will likely be trailer brakes.
Three to the left will be a pair for a spool valve and a single acting circuit run off the linkage lever for tipping trailers.

I can't see great in the picture but what you most likely have is one double acting hydraulic aux and the one on its own will likely be hydraulic brake line

Phew, gotten caught up again. Must have missed an email.
My Disco3 died last week though
Further diagnosis once I got it recovered home was that the crank had snapped. So new engine time.
The Mini has been leaking oil again, so we have been without transport for a week now. The TD5 won't start - need to persuade it out of it's current spot to work on the fuse box, but that can wait till the weather is cooler.
So on Saturday I borrowed mum's golf, and went and test drove one of these;
So that's booked up for the 29th, 1.0T-GDI (Petrol) Picanto in Black, GT-Line spec (though I hope to retrofit the cruise buttons!). £13k new, but doing a PCP deal over 3 years for £250 a month with the service plan included. 7 Year warranty on Kia's so that should be a keeper for at least that long!
Landie is booked to go be looked at on the 24th - gonna cost me the best part of £4k that.

Bout time you washed them. Every pic i see i think they need a clean. Looks so much better for it.
My new yard has no water feed so mine are lacking in the clean dept...not happy but other benefits out weigh the no water at mo

I left Queensferry at half past midnight last night and drove under the lightning all the way back to Sheffield.
My arse cheeks were quite tightly clenched most of the way as I was carrying stuff that does not get on well with electricity
I have never been chased by ‘paparazzi’ but I can imagine it being similar. Mostly dark but every now and then you get about 1 Second of daylight and then dark again.

this has taken some plowing through
... seems the answer to the original Q is DOT3 ..... 15w/40 for the motor and EP80 everywhere else still have to suss the power steering fluid equivalent
and their 'damper fluid' is a simple 15 weight (fork) oil (I might just have some o' that) ..... grease is grease need to order some Rimula X ... emptied the last of me drum the other day
