Looking for a used 2.5 ton digger - if anyone knows of something tidy about. Want something in the 2.6t range as opposed to 2.8 - dont want to break 2.9T with buckets diesel and some mud (poss tilty)
Maybe short stick would be best as would look to put a tilty on it next year.

I hear good things about Volvo EC25 / 27 ?

Looks decent value at 18.7K Euros - dont know how big a job it would be to get something to France from Norway though ?
Like the look of it and the tracking pedals - but install looks a bit messy ,(or is it me ?) plenty of buggerment to snag.

Weight wise its 2790KG + Tilty 100KG + fuel 20K = 2910kg then 3 buckets and maybe other bits of attachments - going to be well over 3 tons.

Whatever I get is destined to go on the back of a 7.5ton hookloader so with a nice solid steel tipper body on its back it can only carry aroung 2700KG - could always have a alli flatbed to transport stuff and that would mean a 3100kg payload but would be a pita to have to swap bodies about so ideally looking for 2.8kg then i arent taking the piss too much...... they look a bit of a lump up in the air on the back off a hookloader so I expect to get an odd tug from the gendarmes
till they get used to seeing me in it.

Tilty alone £6k
Probably more than that TBH. A Scandi spec will almost certainly be fully proportional which would be another £3,500 new. Worth checking, but I doubt it will be an entry-level spec.

I'm not sure to be fair... plate says 2950kg that's without tilt etc

Bit too heavy by the time you add up tilt and buckets .............. shame, nice looking setup and would save some hassle to buy something all set up.
