What variety is it?
no idea ........ but'd guess Victoria, judging by the very dark purple they go when ripe ... got another one which is pretty laden too, but they're more yellow / orangey colour, ripe ... and sweeter .... I've never seen plms in such profusion, clustered on single branches !!

any joy with your mate @jd6820 ... pretty please
Just been mowing and spannering today so not had chance to post earlier when he replied this afternoon. I'll list the measurements now.

45mm front jaw pin size
285mm pin centres on bucket linkage and dipper (hitch top)
385mm back of front jaw to back of rear jaw
110mm rear jaw opening

Looks like he forgot dipper width, so ill ask tomorrow.

Regards,
Matt

thank you Matt .... you're a gentleman .. as are most ( jury is still out on Rory :p:p:LOL::ROFLMAO: ) on here ... looking at a pic from ebay i'd say it's about 180 mm
s-l1600.jpg

odd the top pins are a lot closer together than the lowers ... 'Praps James is right .. maybe it's been altered ... if you do speak to him again, the width of the hook would also be appreciated please ... think I added that one in the second pic I--- ? ---I
It'll get Druidised anyway, but'd be good if the hook's narrow enough for Jakie buckets

anyone care to hazard a guess as to why there's a lump missing out the one top plate ? ....:confused::confused:
hill hitch 2.JPG

thought it was an optical illusion to start ... but can see that racking leg/dexion in the notch ???? 's weird ??:confused:o_O

Looks weird that. Not much meat left holding it together by the looks and yet awfully clean edges considering the state of the rest of it.

I think the front lug part missing is in fact an optical illusion. We are looking at that particular side plate (cheek) almost straight at the edge, not completely dead nuts on, but close. The illusion is created by the boss welded inside the cheek and it’s weld, the other bit of the illusion is created by the weld between the cheek and the front of the hitch body. At the angle we are looking, these two welds are pre close together, and create that curve we are seeing. I think it’s just a trick of the eye, a good one, but a trick none the less...

Yes it does, but it takes a bit of getting your head around. You can’t actually really see any of what is the inner vertical face - the boss and associated welds give the impression you can though. You can only actually see the flat top edge of the side plate from the angle the pic has been taken.
Does look weird though!

more materials required ..... see if I can get a couple more loads tomorrow .... stock pile for filling in the bits currently occupied by stuff !!
the beam's the way to pull this around for sure, once you get it spread out a bit ..... laser receiver for spotting with and all green light-ed ... way too sensitive to try attaching it to the beam .... more's the pity ... but I'd not want it on there for dozing it about with anyway
Annoyingly ... bucket ram has developed a weep on the rod gland :(
