Don't complain - suggest what's better
having spent months in the cab of that 9t Wacker with Alex a while ago .... cabs get my vote .. dry, warm and out of the wind .... would've been miserable without it ..... PITA scraping the frost/ice off, of a morning, but great for the rest of the day :giggle:
I would rather scrape the ice off the windows than off the seat.

Not only great for a wet cold day but it’s nice to drive it in the summer time with the doors open and no dust blowing into ur face and eyes. There’s no heater in the cab but when the engine has been running for a while it gives off enough heat to keep you nice and cosy inside. Visibility can be abit of pain. But you just have to be extra careful around sites when u know people might be walking around you. The good thing about that cab is that the roll bar is still fitted to the dumper inside. So it’s still has its full rops fitted. Our other dumpers with the cabs fitted had the roll bars removed to get the cab on.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm thinking of fitting a heated window kit to my little Menzi as I get steaming up problems, especially when getting in wet. I do have a heater, but it is not much good at demisting.
Saw this on line: https://www.holden.co.uk/p/screen_heater_12_volt
can recall, as a kid, having these stuck to the bottom edges of the front screens on SI/II landies ... 'cos the blowers were crap at demisting the screens

worked fairly well and quickly too ..... plugged into the two single +ve / -ve outlets on the dash

'praps one o' these'd be a better bet Gra ...

fan heaters are IMHDO one of the most efficient forms of intermittent leccy heating going ...... or get one of these Ying Tong night heater kits ... cheap as chips and an easy install ... if you have the space, that is

apologies for hijacking the tread bu that is some of the roughest building work ive seen in a long long time. That back door alone with 7 holes drilled around it for inexplicable reasons. Looks like they are even putting the s**t pipe on the outside. Can only image what the insides look like.

The holes are for a kitchen extractor fan. The white congent is a back door light the small black pipes are up stairs bathroom and Toilet. And u can see where I have left out a conection in the ground for the external soil stack. For all these pipes to connect into when it’s fitted. The large black thing I think is a fan for gas. Fred I have worked on a fair few new builds in Northern Ireland and this is the way all the external pipe work is done. The small dot you have on the base I’m not sure if it’s pointing to the expansion joint built into the brickwork or there is also some sort of little device that is drilled into the wall that is something to do with gas I’m told.

Black fitting poking out is the boiler flue. The hole at the bottom is probably for the safety pressure relief pipe.

This was a job from last year. Over 1000 ton of clay brought into this job to leave the slopes more gentle for lawnmower. Customer was getting his own man to kerb who didn’t come when he was meant to. So unfortunately he ran out of time to get the lawns sowed. So u’l be back here soon to complete it

Was past this side of the house last week. Everything’s connected up now. Lights gas down pipes extractor fans etc. But the efflorescencent would still bug the s**t out of me if it was my house.

groundworks looks great.

The architect who designed those soulless, featureless boxes needs a slap.
