Mouse valley plant have some good deals it’s well worth having the decent headstock with a backplate stops the pissing thing swinging like a mad man !

Have a digga one i think branded as takeuchi got it when they had a deal years ago where you got micro buckets trailer pecker and auger. All for well less than a micro digger now (was 2004 mind). I don't think it will matter which of the main known brands you go for the digger is the limiting factor I don't think anyone actually makes one for a machine under 2 ton specifically.

Here's the spec sheet for the digga range:
The PDD would technically be best for a micro, but as you can see, torque is well down on the others. It's a trade off, as to gain torque you will loose speed. What ground are you usually on?
I run a PDX2 between three machines, E10 to E27. It's pretty slow on the E10, but gets a 12" flight down in a couple of minutes into mudstone or chalk with flints, which is good going in my book. The auger sometimes stalls doing this, so I'm glad I traded speed to torque as slower is still faster than fast but stalling all the time.
But if you spend most of your time drilling 6" holes in sand, you probably want to trade a little torque for speed.
With regards to the cradle hitch- you simply don't have the lift height or reach on an E10 to use one properly in my book. Any movement over rough or sloping ground you're best off taking the flight off.

I have the Auger Torque (think its 1500 nm torque) on a 2 tonne machine & would agree with everything said above about having enough lift height to use it very well. I usually remove the flight if tracking very far just because I don't want to be tracking around with the boom that high. I would say either the Digga or the Auger Torque are good machines.

We are mainly clay round here but we do have some areas of sandstone but im not usually in those areas and id say even less chance of needing an auger in them.
If i could get one that fits the e10 and the dx19 then that would be even better.
The job i need it far doesnt require great big holes, 6 to 8inch would suffice. And if its a sucsess i could get other sizes for it as jobs arise

I'd go PDX then if I were you. I only went PDX2 as I use it on an E27 too.
Can't beat an auger on clay- so much better than hand digging!

I had one on our old 2.5 ton, dad went straight through a 3” gas main 
, to be fair there wasn’t meant to be any on site, it had been capped at the building not in the verge when it was removed years ago, plans hadn’t been updated accordingly 
Point is if it was a traditional dig he’d of stood a chance on not going through it!
