Thought I’d seen somewhere that they get weighed as they get put on, so they can more or less get it right if some are filled to the brim or not?
I'd imagine they have to Ollie ..... I'd assume that you'd be charged by volume AND tonnage for shipping?

local-ish plods had a result last night .... stopped some guy in Brecon, all dolled up in hi-viz, claiming to be coming home from a late shift ... at 2.30 a.m. ... heading the wrong way for Swansea and a bit off route ... searched the vehicle and turned up £57k's worth of cocaine on the back seat ...... "you're ****ing nicked my son " :giggle::giggle::LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

" you're seriously ****ing nicked my son " :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No, it’s meant for use in anger, it’s just the standard of the machines over there Mike, some very impressive set ups over there. There are some pictures somewhere of that one on tracks working somewhere.

Must be a better rewarded occupation over there though. Also from what I've seen they must work in a different manner. You see these vids on YouTube of a 20 ton drive duck digging a 2 foot trench for a 25mm gas pipe can you imagine doing that to somebody's pride and joy lawn.

On the black liebrherr`s, what's the two poles for on the back above the counter weight? GPS positioning?

Yeah cos can't see through the blacked out windows. One thing i can't get my head round in this health and safety world is how that's acceptable.

That’s probably cos everything over there is built on rock.

You can see out of them fine, cuts a lot of reflection out in the cab as well, especially if your wearing hi-viz clothing in the machine, looking out is a f’in nitemare it’s like trying to look through a mirror when the suns out🙈, so blacking the windows out actually makes it safer.

Wasn't on what i saw. But totally different way of life and value of money is different. They're not as densely populated either so i think they have more room. Most places over here you struggle to get more than a five tonner in

You shouldn't have to wear hi viz if you're in a cab which would help but that's a whole other subject there ain't time for. I can see it the use of tinted windows in oz but with the amount of sun we get over here and if on a busy site I'm not convinced it's a good idea.
