They can’t police this anyway. Lone working is being sensible, it’s the idiots going out clubbing or now meeting to get stoned is where they will be concentrating.

Crack on I say...from what I can gather from a legal mate it's not fully passed or something yet so they can't actually prosecute atm..
I think common sense applies? He noticeably didn't shut sites or industry down.
(travelling to and from work, but only where it is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home) can't very well run a digger from home...that's my take on it....😣 I can't go out yet anyway..my dad whose had a text to say he's high risk and to stay indoors for 12 weeks is climbing up the walls .🙄

To be fair, I don't think this one is about the money, our parents and grand parents were asked to go and shoot people and feed a family for a week on what we eat in a day
all we are being asked to do is sit on the sofa and watch a bit of tv for 3 weeks to save the life of some ones mum or dad or even some of us on here are pretty un well and don't want to be catching it.
all I want is clarity is the government asking me to stay at home or not if yes that's what I will do if not lets get on and earn a shilling cos I think it is going to be a long year.

I work with my nephew. Are we able to keep 2m apart, really!! Is it essential? Really? Can I justify going back to lock up the drainage materials? Today, probably yes. But I guess the ability to do so will be removed later in this lockdown.
Stay safe and be sensible.

Can carry on working on site subject to you keeping 2m spacing. I am carrying just the 2 of us on site, my lad who school is closed. Not wasting this first decent weather in weeks to finish off the groundworks.

Pretty sure I cant dig in the sewer from home! Wish I bloody could some days.

don't think that the building trade figured highly in the Key workers/activities list though Fred ..... it's a total balls up, clarity-wise

well said Boyo
this unprecedented situation has never had to be tackled before and if as many of us as possible are going to come out the other end of it, we ALL need to be paying heed and doing exactly what we are told ....
I would not want to be in Boris, et al's shoes, for anything ATM

skip and grab firms are still open today. Some materials suppliers/merchants are open yet others aren’t. Unfortunately there still seems to be an element of interpretation to what we are allowed to do!
