Just seen Cornwall on the news.


That's exactly the same as up here, apparently here in wales we've got the least amount of spare hospital capacity in the uk .

I think there will some restriction in place before Easter, if not sooner as in this next week.
People have proved they cant do as asked.

IMHDO Boris is losing his patience with these bloody idiots ...... they're going to be more than asked very shortly ... you will do as you're told

After today all I can say is the sooner Boris imposes a lockdown like in spain the better.... been alright up to now but the f****ng grockles have invaded and there treating it like a glorious holiday....

Ye they have stopped camper vans coming over now but there are loads already over this place is pretty small for all the camper vans all sites are closed nowhere for them to empty chemical toilets etc, only passenger sailing for tomorrow has now been cancelled due to weather, people will panic buy more than usual!

should be rounded up and sent packing onto the next available boat Alan .... your resources are significantly more limited than most UK locations

Hasn't seemed as bad in the lakes today but then most folk go home on a Sunday so can be quieter day off the weekend anyway. If people don't take heed it's gonna go on a lot longer as said. Economically country is gonna be on its arse after this and the longer it goes on the worse it's gonna be. They'll all think differently then but just watch it won't be their fault.

..... But mortgage breaks and everything i have to say Boris and his team have done a great job. I dont ask for hand outs.
We are working but fully expect a lock down, tbh i want it, I wanted it this weekend.The longer we try and work a week at a time the more we lose realistically.
Got offer so much kit last week, euros is full to the brim, people want cash! We are now offering recession prices for run of the mill kit, cant get kit out the country and the country is not buying, rather not have a 50k asset worth 25k in a few months, which is what happened to dealers in 08... rather the pounds in the bank at the moment.

I'm starting to think we are stupid for trying to work. But I'm currently running a site with 20+ guys who are all keen to keep working and if I shut, they dont have work tomorrow. Its a hard decision to make when the suns shining and all seems well on the surface but I have Asthma which has been serious in the past and should I be thinking of myself over trying to put a "brave face" on things? The developer Im working for says carry on, yet is self isolated at home in London......
Definatly thinking I'm the fool here...

Bar the asthma im on a new site for a local builder that are waiting to get going but lots to shift before they can so keep working hopefully if it don't get bad down here

yes and no Doob .... HTF are Primark going to re-stock - assuming they have any sales of course, when all their stuff comes in from far flung corners of the world ..... plus, as you say, they're saving huge amounts of overheads ... and who wouldn't in their place ...
