The news is grimmer and grimmer every day... Really seeing a impact around the place now especially if you follow stocks and money.
Anybody been affected?

as Gra says, with the current world population at 7.8 billion those 100,000 represent 0.00001282051 % of the world and those are phenomenally long odds.As usual the media is having a field day creating a frenzy about something that has a far lower mortality rate than many other transmittable illnesses. Once more, they're going to be responsible, on the whole, for crashing economies yet again ...... fkrs need muzzlingI’m keeping calm and carrying on as normal. Less than 100,000 people world wide effected at present out of 9 billion plus And death rate similar to normal flue. Certainly a lot less than things like TB which is making a come back from India where it is still endemic.
I think the press have a lot to answer for trying to create panic to make more news.
Saying that I need two new tyres on my pickup and no-one has any stock as although the actual tyres are not made in China the steel reinforcing is and is in short supply, so I had to order them.
yes the media are going to drive us all into the tish again ..... they were 90+% responsible for the last major collapse IMHDO .. things were ticking over quietly - not great, but certainly not as bad as they made it out to be ...... then it all fell off a cliff ....... all for the sake of sensationalism and BS journalismI was supposed to be going to Germany this week but decided against it. Looks like world wide recessions are inbound thats the more worrying thing (news driven) unless they can catch some sort of hold now.
Couldn't agree more, the crap they twaddle out is unreal. Had to do with several major incidents over last few years as a volunteer and when you see the truth and the media version it's unreal the difference.yes the media are going to drive us all into the tish again ..... they were 90+% responsible for the last major collapse IMHDO .. things were ticking over quietly - not great, but certainly not as bad as they made it out to be ...... then it all fell off a cliff ....... all for the sake of sensationalism and BS journalism
Pam has a friend who used to work with her, who now lives in Italy ... comes back to the UK to give birth for dual nationality for the kids - hubby Italian. It's funny seeing the reaction on different forums
A couple I am part of have already got 50 pages of doom and gloom
With constant post of media statistics
I'm much of the opinion that we don't and will never know the actual truth as the media has got hold of it
We will see in coming weeks what happens and whether we go into lock down like Italy or it blows over
Im not old enough to remember all the problems but I can definitely remember the end of civilization being iminant at least a couple of times

latest one is five days old and they can't go back. Looking for somewhere to rent. Says the situation is very serious ... all hospitals full and 'decisions' have to be made about who does/doesn't get treated .... I'd guess their media has been shut down a lot more than our wa***ers have been they have far too much freedom to say WTF they like, on a lot of things, without actually reporting it as it is, instead of the sensationalistic crap that they so love to dole out hourly
can go out for food/med.s/etc. shopping, but otherwise ... stay home ... finding shops open, or with goods is not so easy apparently ... getting a flight to Italy is a non starter ... hence can't go back (before the 3rd April apparently) ... plus think she'd rather be here ATMReading the news you would think that they have all been locked in side there houses with the death sentence being issued to anyone disobeying. I just googled to see what is actually happening and whilst it's very difficult to find out it seems non essential travel to and from the north is to be penalized and social gatherings banned
As far as I can tell people can still go to work and go to the shops
It's ridiculous how much everything is twisted and social media even forums you would expect to be quite sensible are just feeding the problem with Chinese whispers and armchair experts
