Got a steep chalk track to re-do. Don't really want to invest in a machine mounted plate as I'd use a large forward/reverse one more.
Has anyone tried attaching the wacker plate to the q/h via a chain set low on the wacker, then setting it going slowly forward, then dragging it back uphill/sideways and letting it walk back down again? Might be an easy soloution. Should be easy to control the line it takes, and give it a decent amount of time where it needs beating down well.
