It told me 4-6. To add insult to injury it also told me the quality looked suspect with lots of soil

Quite enjoyed this little job, long time since the blades been shiny on the digger, idig was very handy ln this one, shame about the tone for high low, why cant say bit low / bit high in a calming voice instead of shreikkng beep beep at you

I wish I had your job! Or @doobin . Dream job is no employees and no frigging customers and doing what I want outside with machines. Preferably for £50K plus a year.

You can turn the beep off and on the new connect you can change the tone of the beep

But how would you manage with nobody prattling on whilst you ate lunch together?

yeah but beep is useful, i have light bar in edge of vision but it still needs a look, its on minimum volume,bit of tape over output maybe, no way im upgrading, it would be great if it knew where you were on site mind, big drawback of basic setup afaic.

yeah what like ?
for me its decent - if your dolng bigger areas - that pad was 50x12 then the additional thing that knows youve moved instead of having to re catch the grade would be good, smaller areas not so much, i imagine that its not upgradable .... comme dab as we say ere

What your talking about is 2D plus. But you can only have it with the Idig connect (yours is Idig touch)
It uses the GPS receiver to work out the height rather than the laser.
Yes it gets expensive, but I've had about 5 customers upgrade to it this year and all love it.

yes im sure its a step up - and for the right work brilliant, but I guess it takes it up into the money of other competitors, its not for me, my chickin scrattin wont warrant it

are there other systems in the lower end price wise that dont need the recatch ?

No, not at the momment, but they are always devopling.

That said, the touch system is still a big seller
