Trenching cables for me today a couple hundred meter across a side slope, one of the times I wish I'd specced VDS! been sat on the piss all day. Wacker been pulling well though- some meaty 4- 6" roots to pull up in places, I'm sure it has more ripping power than my TB228!

Handy size… awkward to bother moving legally I guess 😳
I used to hire a red rhino 5040 I think, soon got a decent pile in a day 👍🏼
I think it still barely worth it for me by the time you add my day rate to the £700 he charges. But it’s handy to have crush around the yard.

I’ll probably get the local grab firm to collect it going forward, unless I suddenly find a use all at once for what we processed today.

To be fair, if you don’t have a end use for it on site or very local it’s better just shifted out the way.. had a fella call in today eyeing up my crusher pile.. had afew folk call in over the years offering to take it away for free!

What tonnage have you/it produced in a day?

I think those days are gone with the demise of HS2. Seen a few FB posts lately offering crush at £1/ton collected!

I have it crushed down to 50mm. Probably made around 150t yesterday, maybe a bit less.

I sell it out at £9/ton collected at 6f2. But only if I really have to, impossible to buy it back in as clean as I make it!
