watched that the other night ... animals/cowboys 🤠🤠:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Absolutely ace! Come on wouldn't you do the same if you had that sitting there. I would 😆
Fairly brave move on some parts though! Imagine if that bar had caught of a piston or similar!
As for the bar in the flywheel to start ...that was damn lucky it don't go the other way 😱

It’s what I do!
Surely diesel one would be better! Then you could have chips every day and reuse the oil, seriously I found the HDMO 20 a lot quieter than the 10i

They doing battery packs now to?
Have done for a bit and just launching new ones.
Not much between them and ecoflow and prop bluetti. I got on deal for a specific job. Running 10 lots of led festoon lights. Worked a treat👌🏻

Damn handy bit of kit. Like everything they'll be getting better all the time. Tried the festool one off the rep mega bucks but ran a big core drill no sweat!
Milwaukee do one but big bucks but I imagine got a lot higher surge/start amps for big stuff.

Ahem...

" because of man-made climate change " still yet to be irrefutably proven  I still go with the more plausible and scientifically proven exit of the last mini ice age

Anyone who can't cope with not shopping for less than three days deserves to go hungry
we shop once a fortnight-ish, so wouldn't even notice

lots of the yank off grid-ers use these battery packs and are always extolling the virtues of different set ups on a weekly basis usually .. ppl like Ambition Strikes, etc.
they're not cheap options for very occasional use though - - have had my little Hodna 25+ yrs and can burn a lorrajuice for an equivalent cost - will run all essentials for the very limited times it's needed

Presumably if you were a bit clever you could have it set up as a UPS for the essentials circuits ( LED lights / Heating / Fridge Freezer / CCTV / Internet etc) and then use Genny to charge it up.

Fully agreed.

I've a suitcase 3kv Hyundai at home which Is incredibly handy and simple. Once I'd swapped all the crappy lines out for Decent etc stuff and binned the battery 🤣🤣
That and a DJI 1000 power bank means I'm good indefinitely..always have 20L of E5 as well.
Always keep 20 L of drinking water. Plus we've got one of them mini filtration bags.
Always have plenty of gas on hand. I'm not a prepper but it's common sense if you live in the sticks I reckon.

A 48-hour power outage is a good way of testing your metal. It's surprising how many things rely on 240.
Communications is quite a big one, so starlink is a good help. Most mobile networks are only good for 24 to 48 hours. Max

Which suitcase generator have you got? Would you recommend?
I'm thinking maybe one of the tiny ones and a diesel heater would be worth keeping in the garage.
