Handy things the tilties. I’ve had a couple of days restoring wildlife ponds too this week. The last couple of pics are the tip, which was a failed pond that is earmarked for ultimately filling in (it’s very rocky ground and the ‘tip’ pond apparently never held water).
There was 150ish tonnes of sloppy sticky shite to dump, so I used it to puddle the failed pond and am fairly confident it will now hold water. (I definitely won’t get a job as a plasterer but it’s very easy to do this sort of thing with a tilty).

First day on the new 5 tonner Friday, just moving spoil but gave me a chance to get a feel for it,reach marches the old u55, it’s actually deceptively quick on a loading cycle just doesn’t quite feel right yet, weirdly I think this is because it’s so quiet compared to the Kubota which was very not quiet!
I think it will grow on me after a few more hours,so far so good.
