Combines going well into the evening last Saturday. Leicestershire surprised me, far more agricultural than I expected, some big fields too. Our walk back from the pub was very scenic. Loads of cattle near Foxton Locks too.
Spotted this 3070 from the road 😍
Last one is my old 3060 again, looks great from that angle 😉
Saw it for sale 18 months after I sold it, been cosmetically restored and near double the 5500 I sold it for. But that was OK as I paid half that 😉👍

Came across this old bit of kit rusting away beside a bridle way in the South Hams yesterday. Has a set of drag harrows tipped on top to confuse things , but appears to my rather unqualified eye to be a rather robust height adjustable trailed cultivator that’s been crudely converted to 3pt linkage. Wonder if it was originally built for horse drawn or early tractors? I recall seeing quite a bit of horse drawn kit farm still in use after converted to 3pt linkage. Presumably there must have been quite a few years where stuff was being built that could be trailed behind horse OR early tractor?
Only a mile from where my Grandfather and his brothers use to farm.
