Combines going well into the evening last Saturday. Leicestershire surprised me, far more agricultural than I expected, some big fields too. Our walk back from the pub was very scenic. Loads of cattle near Foxton Locks too.
Spotted this 3070 from the road
Last one is my old 3060 again, looks great from that angle
Saw it for sale 18 months after I sold it, been cosmetically restored and near double the 5500 I sold it for. But that was OK as I paid half that

Came across this old bit of kit rusting away beside a bridle way in the South Hams yesterday. Has a set of drag harrows tipped on top to confuse things , but appears to my rather unqualified eye to be a rather robust height adjustable trailed cultivator that’s been crudely converted to 3pt linkage. Wonder if it was originally built for horse drawn or early tractors? I recall seeing quite a bit of horse drawn kit farm still in use after converted to 3pt linkage. Presumably there must have been quite a few years where stuff was being built that could be trailed behind horse OR early tractor?
Only a mile from where my Grandfather and his brothers use to farm.
