Anyone wear em? Paid 85 for these on Ebay this week. Had a pair of insulated steel toe dunlop puraforts last me about 10 years had to repair them a year or 2 ago but leaking again now so upgraded to these. They feel a lot more supportive than the dunlops were. I almost rolled my ankle in those a couple of times. Also the normal buckbootz look good on the website. Seen alot of groundworkers wearing these on sites. Can't beat em join em 20250115_183255.jpg

Not got the wellies I have skellrup as per a recommendation on here but the sole just doesn't fit my foot shape. Feet ache after a couple of hours. Luckily I rarely wear them so it doesn't matter.
I do wear buckler dealer boots the whole time though. They are so comfy out the box and wear well.

I had the same ones in the same colour, comfy and very thick. Not what your going to want to read, they didn't get much use and at least than 2 years old the top of the boots started to split, so got put on even lighter duty, eventually at less than 3 years old the boots started to come away from the sole that was around the start of last year. Their warranty is a year or "at their discretion depending on what they look like" I ended up binning them only a few months ago, kept them as they were expensive but was only using them on the odd cold day as they weren't really waterproof anymore so no use for work
Recently bought the Dunlop thermal fieldpro wellies not had much use out of them but coming from the buckbootz they are nowhere near as thick

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
I've had a pair of Aigle Parcous pushing 14 years .. sadly not toe cap - neoprene lined, warm, comfy and still going strong and dry ... pam bought me a new pair a few years ago anticipating their demise - they'm still in their box in the bottom of the wardrobe
were bloody dear back then and ummed and aahh-ed about forking out for them, but TBF they have been marvellous and wear them a fair bit

Think I've dropped a bollock. Bought a size 10 but felt a bit short today when out in them for a decent amount of time. Maybe should of Bought a size up. Don't have the sake issue with boots. Didn't look what size the purafoots were and they went in the bin this week

Well after less than a year these dunlops have had it too. My fault for leaving them bent over in garage. Never happened with that 10 yr old pair. Also I bought them off ebay think new in box or worn once so no refund. Gonna order some of these now seem to get good reviews. Ill update in another year 🤣

Edit - should have added i got rid of the buckbootz after a few weeks and got purafoot again. I found them horrible to wear hurting my feet giving me blisters

I hated my buckboots, they destroyed my socks daily, and then wore through the liner within a week and ruined my week, slammed them back on the desk and got my money back!
I’ve got some Bekinas now, they are good.. but I stick with my boots until it’s absolutely desperate for wellies!

I've a pair of Aigle Parcous that I bought in the winter of 2010 - we had 3 ft of snow here - sadly they're not toe caps but are the most comfortable wellies i've ever owned - neoprene lined, warm, dry and don't make my feet sweat .. they get a lot of use and are still going strong - Pam bought me a new pair a few years ago - still sat in their box in the bottom of the wardrobe - these are still going strong.
lived in them for 3+ months in '17 on the lake job with Alex

Yeh they were shite for me too. Don't understand why everyone wears them. I went out splashing in puddles with the kids today it's not the mud on site they're needed for yet.

With the Bekinas how is the fit? I'm a 10 in boots should I order a 10 in wellies?

I'm going to ask my Mum to bring over some of their steel cap dealer boots next time she comes. Ok for general mooching about. 120 quid here or about 75 if she brings them. I'm in no hurry.

Had similar with my dunlops although to be fair weren't left bent over but developed little splits and had some putting. I bought direct from Dunlop and to be fair, they were excellent and refunded the full amount.
Still not got round to replacing them as not needed wellies since but will probably be a other set of dunlops
