It's not looking good for Nims Dai and his fellow climbers on Broardpeak. Several bodies recovered.
RIP to any that have lost there lives.
Not many people that are good role models but I believe Nims hopefully is 1 of those 😔😔

Unfortunately the worst case scenario.

A Gurkha, SBS, record breaking mountaineer and the sort of person kids should look up to.

RIP to all thought about this all day and that doesn't happen very often, the world needs more people like Nims.

If you've not watched the documentary on Netflix it superb, the book is even better.

nice guys the Gurkas and the elite of their country ... the entry for the regiment is something else.
based/stationed at Derring lines in Brecon, round here and know quite a few - highly feared by their foes.

Dyfed steels used to have a guy called Darhn driving for them ... was a great little fella - nothing too much trouble .... would call me if he was gonna be late getting to us and ask me to hang on for him :cool:

pretty sure there's one in Aber too ... was the old RAFA club many years ago

warriors indeed ... I know who's side I'd want to be on for sure
