Noticed a puddle in the lane last few weeks that seemed persistent even for here...
The culprit 😑 lets investigate.

Ok

Lid off . Arm at full stretch can't feel tap.
Seems a steady weep up the shaft so to speak.
Questions..
Worth trying to sort of report to UU 🙃😂
If they come can they force a new tap/meter on me . (Currently unmetered and deffo don't want😬
I hate wet stuff.

No joke this heat - Wildfires near local town ! prepped for a tank/filter tomorrow, has to be concreted in, not sure if in high water table the rule should be changed to allow a blown system so its always full and we dont fight the empty filter tank trying to bob out ....I dont make the rules but I think it will at some point be changed.
plant weighs 1.2t so thought id drop tilty off to make it easier lift, lifting is not the wackers strong point, but top hitch refused to budge, I cant even remember when I last had it off, could hear it trying but to no avail, to hot to fook about with it so will manage with tilty on.View attachment 83261
The wedge/pins will be seized from lack of use, hit them a few smacks with a blunt drift and try again

I don’t think they can - we had a new stop tap fitted as the old one was farked and I was expecting to have a fight/argument over it. However, they didn’t insist on installing a meter, just updated what was already there.
(This was UU last year fyi).

Good practice yep👌 but top hitches could be on for months or years at a time, i have one customer that hasn't had his off in 7 years, I know for a fact cos i still have the switch for his top his in the van 🤣🤣
Are you sure he didn't get bored of waiting and bought a switch from halfords and did it himself 😜🫣🤪🤪

I have similar on the JCB sometimes, I wedge a pair of grips I have in the cab between the window and the joystick to hold it in the crowd position whilst I hit the pins.

Probably safer to get your missus to tap the pins in your instance.

If it was mine I would do a live swap out to a proper meter chamber - and put my own meter in it so I would know what I am using :)
It's right on roadside. No room at all in a steep little verge . A proper pita .
Might just report it to UU and see how long.
Keith up the lane has had a leak in road outside for months!

Brother in Law has borrowed my E10. He’s got cross with the modulation on the pedal for the AuX - running the Tilt Scandi bucket so has made a removable modification 🤣
I tend to run on lower revs, and have got used to only using the tilt whilst using another hydraulic function so that it’s nice and calm. I need to repipe the bucket a bit so maybe this is my cue to add a flow restrictor 🤣

Yeah, I do tend to just stamp on it. It could be better for sure. A restrictor on a tilt bucket is usually a good idea.
