My Backhoe was busy this morning clearing an overgrown gateway that I needed to clear to allow a lorry in to empty our cess pit next week, it certainly made light work of it, I would not be without my Terex 860

I thought you had that white one did you move it on ! TBH I don’t use it that much but it is such a nice machine I got it off the original owner operator who had it from 2007 until I got it in 2022 he really looked after it too.

Which Case were you looking at 580 or 590 the 580 floors rot out and the cabs are quite small, I have never had one I did have a 590 power shift with servos that was a nice machine.

Always quite fancied buying a tidy old Case 580/590k or L as a bit of an occasional use machine/toy,they always looked solid machines to me.

Still an itch I'd like to scratch one day!Never seen one of these in the flesh. Looking at the photo of the back end, looks like QH on the hoses. Must make replacements a lot easier?

yeah think it needs to be straight tip - but anyhow I cant add that to my fleet, im much less ocd than I was but thats a rust flake too far !thought you wanted a straight tip .... won't be batching much mix in a swivel ....... makes mine look pretty tidy

I just watched @Gunners paint video.
He is absolutely bang on, and I genuinely feel for him hes worked to get his dream machine.
Imagine a 100k land-rover/ rangerover peeling after a few months.
Paint isn't what it was whether commercial or domestic i don't know the ramifications to the environment. When lead was taken out paint went down hill.
But the last 10 years paint has gone shite.
I wonder if Sany abide by the paint regs!

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
bigger issue is the lack/shortage of solvent based paints - a lot of water based shite these days .... not been lead in paint in probably 50 years
