Can you buy the rubbers for the chamber lids separately? Got a base, risers and lid and the lid is loose. Its either a full new lid or getting hold of them rubber tubes, or bedding down on compo.

Are the rubbers all standard? Its a polypipe lid and risers. Presumably if the brands are interchangeable the rubbers are all the same size?

Local merchant had them in same brand polypipe so picked up 4 to do the risers as well. Noticed they are using the same chambers on the job next door and they dont have any rubber rings knocking around. I bet these get left out in loads of installs if not included with the gear.

Depends if using the for foul or surface water.
Unless it's a combined system I always found it pretty common for them not being be specced on sw. Designer trying to save money.

Merchant won’t include them unless it’s asked for - I’ve swapped to osma and they come sealed as standard, much better quality fittings.

Yeh ive used osma before it is better i cant remember pissing about with separate rubber rings before. Tbf I got this chamber with 3 risers and lid off marketplace for 50 quid so I suppose cant moan too much got what I deserved. No design here its a bit make it up as you go along. Neighbour is having an extension and wanted to renew this section of pipe. Some of it is on our ground we've just bought. I wasn't going to object to them renewing the pipe as it looked dodgy when I had it camera'd. So i bought this chamber and have got them to put it in when renewing the pipe. When I pull a connection off ive only got to go in the side of this base then no pissing around banging their end and cutting it. Should of really put it down where the bend was but it never had one there before and didn't really want a lid in the grass.

When I replaced all the drains as part of out extension work last year, local supplier had loads of bases and risers but no seals…”no-one ever bothers?” Well I do, so can you get me some in please!
