As above. I see plenty of YouTube videos using expanding foam and a can of 'FlexSeal'.

Any recommendations for an alternative to FlexSeal here in the UK? Surely it can't be a simple as a can of BlackJack?

Or maybe rather than a spray on finish, some tape like this? It's for the edges of a forklift seat, where they always fall apart with being slid on/off every five minutes.

Doesn’t look comfy and I bet it won’t fit the base.

It wouldn’t last as long as repairing your old one with duct tape either.
Can you not get decent fitted seat covers for these ? We use them in all vehicles , but never thought about it for plant
